Hello, Mr. Obama!

Today was mostly based around the Inauguration of Barack Obama.

I was pretty excited because it was my first time seeing such a ceremony.

And plus, it's a day of history: Obama being the first black president, the fifth youngest president, the one who's to deal with the many problems and struggles that America is going through right this moment. With his speech, he seemed to give us much hope, and I look forward to what he will do for our country.

1st day, 2nd semester.
1st period: Watching Inauguration.
2nd period: Watching Inauguration. President Barack Obama takes oath, he says his speech.
3rd period: Notes. No time to lose, man, no time to lose.
4th period: Watching Inauguration.
Lunch: Watching Inauguration. Rehearse choreography for choir.
5th period: Choreography for choir.
6th period: Imparfait past tense.
Afterschool: Darn I left my notebooks at school. That's okay, I have noo homeworkk!

My cousin Kayril borrowed CD's from the library, and she borrowed Shaggy. I thought Shaggy was the white rapper that sounded like a black rapper, but it turned out he was black. I must've been thinking Sean Paul. But anyways, I decided to look at the little insert booklet, which had lyrics in it, and the lyrics were nonsensee! Bahahhaha "Gayl handi up di ayur" or something like that. LOL. What the?! That's soo bad.

I slept. Woke up because I had piano lessons. Ate delicious adobo for dinner. Went to Confirmation II :] Joanna got her braces off! That pretty girrrl. Jay matched Jason, Janeczka matched Jessica, Joanna matched Lorraine matched Mary-Grace. HAAAH. Inclass, had debatess. Christian morality vs. the rest of the world. I love this class.

Today is the beginning for a new start. "Potential life." Get ready, get set, go. Too bad I can't see the finish line...

Birthday #2, A blog with pictures.

I woke up to the knocking of 2 rather young Asians at my door. I didn't answer the door. I didn't know who they were. :\ The rest of the day I did practically nothing. I played piano most of the day. I wanted to go to Nathalie's invite, but no ride, and mother'd say no. I ate lunch and dinner with my lolas (grandmas). I took pictures with my polaroid. I took a picture of my lola. I played piano and sang and my granma listened. She also danced till she said, "I'm tired na!" Then my mom arrived home and we headed for family time.

Today was my cousin Kayril's 13th birthday.
We went to New York Pizzeria to celebrate, all four families.

Pictures with super sucky phone quality! I never bring my camera around.

Hey Birthday Girl!

Cousin bonding day #4

With Justine's Nikon D40, calls for photo-"SHOOT"

We ate a lot. I told all my cousins to watch Slumdog Millionaire. We went to Vons and bought ice cream to eat. We came back.

Still Justine with her D40:

Julia Gulia is a supermodel.

Then before we left, Justine, Mikee, and Katrina were practicing the Single Ladies dance, and we all had visions of a YouTube hit. LOL.

Tomorrow is Barack Obama's Inauguration! Don't miss it!

Blogging the cool way, with pictures! Bahhaa.

So first of all, I just want to mention how I watched SLUMDOG MILLIONAIRE. Freaking amazing movie. It rather reminded me of the Philippines and Pacquiao. It was a good movie to watch with my parents, who immigrated from a third-world country. It's a movie you just HAVE to watch, because it makes you think about poverty, third-world countries, the slums. Not only that but it also involves a love story :P haha but serious. You wouldn't regret. Great story, great cinematography, great actors. WATCH IT. NOW. :]

So yesterday I stayed all day at my cousins' house, not knowing I was going to sleep there. My parents and their mom were at Las Vegas, me not going due to my duty to do community service, and my underage. Bonded with the cousins. And I'm fat. I need to stop eating so much. And I was messing around on paint and then my cousins called me an artist for this: HAHAAH

So I slept there. Woke up to a yummy American breakfast x] and also little Jamie's annoyed comments on her dad's accent, and her dad's sarcastic comments on her excessive talking. It's FUNNY! x) Haha wow Jamie's whitewashed.

Anyways, I went to their church, and I saw Celestine there, who did not see me because she was zoned out. My cousins kept scaring me, telling me I'd have to go up to the front and speak 'cause I was a visitor. Didn't happen. THANK YOU. Bahah. But I learned from the sermon! Here it is folkss:

3 H's in Christianity/What is Religion?:
Head
Heart
Hands

Head:
Religion is in the mind. You can't go to church, sit there, take the bread and wine, and leave, thinking that's enough. You have to actually think about it, the reason and understanding behind all this. You have to know what you're doing, why are you doing the things you do?

Heart:
Religion is in the heart. It's your emotions. Like, even though, say, you don't do something bad, it doesn't mean simply thinking something bad is any better. A lot of people don't murder or steal, but simply thinking about doing it is just as bad. The thought comes from the heart. A kind heart wouldn't think of such things would it?

Hands:
Religion is in your hands. It's what you do. Your actions. You can't go to church, sit there, take the bread and wine, and leave, later on caught talking in vain and disrespect, or disobeying your parents or something, thinking that you're still Christian. Religion is a way of life. It's the way you live. What you do. How you do it.

James 1:22-24
22 Be doers of the word and not hearers only, deluding yourselves.
23 For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man who looks at his own face in a mirror.
24 He sees himself, then goes off and promptly forgets what he looked like.
and then I found it ironic how I watched Slumdog Millionaire the day I was given this:

James 1:27
"Religion that is pure and undefiled before God and the Father is this: to care for orphans and widows in their affliction and to keep oneself unstained by the world."

I wasn't sure about the going-to-a-Christian-church thing since I haven't been to one ever since I've been so aware of my religion... like, this past year. But it was good. I needed it. And thus the enhanced faith.
---------

So after church, my parents and my aunt were back from Las Vegas.
We went to Buca di Beppo at Brea to celebrate my mother's birthday.

Images taken with a sucky camera phone:

JR/Dan Ray is getting way tall and skinny!(right. brother=left.) and Jamie is getting prettier! :]

My mommy's birthday! :D

After that we went to the Brea Mall. We walked around and window shopped. We went to the Apple Store and saw Greg from church and Mustang Update! Then we went on all the laptops and put our YouTube MourningSunshineBand channel on each of them. HAHAHA = more views ! x]

Then Mikee started dancing the Single Ladies dance in the middle of nowhere and we planned another video. Next time! They said they gotta practice the moves first x]

Then we just chilled:
