Today was St. Lorenzo's Groundbreaking Celebration

They actually broke the ground and planted a cross there! I didn't know they'd actually "break ground."

I also watched WALL-E today! Cute movie, I can say.

Okay, so I promised Joanna a blog about how I came closer to God through the Amazing Encounter (AE) Retreat.
I can't say much (the activities are a secret) but all I can say is that in this retreat, you really witness God's work at his best.
The people at the retreat are friendly beyond friendly, and the love that they give and share is neverending. The stories and teachings that they give to us is moving, inspiring, and touching. I've learned to hope, I've learned not to take my gifts for granted, to love and to be kind, and remain faithful to God.
I think it's so hard to explain because you go through these different emotions...
The experience just really contrasts you from how you felt before the retreat and after. Well, duh. x] It's guaranteed sommee change in you after it. For the better.
Everybody at the retreat is just ALWAYS there for you, and you're NEVER left out. You experience that wonderful feeling of love, God bringing you all together. You will ALWAYS feel loved and meaningful to others, in this retreat. Even if the other doesn't know you.
You are shown models of God's work in many ways, all of them powerful. It will bring you to tears of joy, a warmed heart, hopee.
Everybody is different on this retreat, yet God really knows how to put us together. It's just amazing. We encounter a stronger relationship with people, and more importantly God, knowing that He's there to give us these gifts, this love.
We then are inspired to share and spread the love that God has given us.
