I left blogspot...
But I'm still here.
Just felt like dropping by.
If there's anybody still going here.
It's funny how you see things go away right before your eyes, huh? To see something change, like a snap, right there and then?
Seems like things can be gone without warning, how things can leave too soon for your liking.
It's 2010, a new decade.
I'm 16 years old; by the end of this decade I would be 26-27.
Although I'm constantly thinking about the future, I'd hate to think of it now, since it's so close. What am I to do? Seriously?
I don't want people asking me that question; I don't want to tell them what's going on at the back of my head.
Nowadays, all I want to do is sleep. Because sleeping seems to be the only relief from reality. The only time I could feel like I'm in another world, in my dreams.
I'm tired. My body needs sleep.

Happy Birthday Michael Jackson (yesterday)
I sang his favorite song for his birthday :) Feel free to watch my overemotional cracking! lawls.
If only we could celebrate birthdays more, because really we take them for granted. They really should have more meaning, in that people could lose another birthday at any unexpected moment, any unexpected time. Even though we get older, we may be used to life, but man, "Life is still worthwhile..." So cherish all the moments you have.
I wore a fedora hat too :)

Reading Pt. II
I'm going to Florida tomorrow! Or rather, today! :D
I didn't get the books I needed and wanted when I went to the bookstore today. :( Darnit. !!!
BUT my cousin suggested this book by James Patterson ? and I'm so excited :D It's about a girl's imaginary friend.
Yay. !!!
This trip to Florida seems so, impromptu. It's a weird feeling. AND now I have to like, do all my AP English work in one week. -_____- That's what I get for relaxing too much. x) Good luck to me! Lol.
K bye :)

I am in love with Michael Jackson's poetry&reflections.
His words give me that abilitytofly.
It allows me to do the impossible.
I really feel free when reading his words.
It feels like I'm flying.
Those are moments when fate is unsealed
Nothing is impossible and we are healed
We can soar, we can fly
Walk on fire, navigate the sky
In the light of a glittering star
There's no distance, nothing is far
Those are moments of innocent guile
In the glow
We are suspended awhile
Those are moments when babies smile
Feeling free, let us fly
Into the boundless, beyond the sky
For we were born to never die
To live in bliss, to never cry
To speak the truth and never lie
To share our love without a sigh
To stretch our arms without a tie
Oh gosh, I am so embarrassed writing this.
I bet you're thinking, "Good gracious, Michelle, get over yourself and all this about Michael Jackson."
But it's so interesting to see how he was so much more. So much more.
It allows me to do the impossible.
I really feel free when reading his words.
It feels like I'm flying.

Rest In Paradise, Michael Jackson.
Hm, there was less blogging about MJ than I thought there would be... so I'm just gonna paste my Xanga entry onto here...
Yesterday, I couldn't believe what just happened. It felt like it was all a joke, like he would jump up and start dancing and say he was just kidding. But he never did.
Out of all celebrities' deaths that I have known, it never hit until the King of Pop passed away. It was so unexpected, so quick. He really was the only living man I could think of, that the whole world knew. He was so amazing, and he contributed so much to our culture. He was entertaining... a talented singer, dancer, performer. I am so glad that he lived through part of my lifetime.
He really inspired me in music, even in dancing, acting even. Haha, when I was trying out for The Wiz musical at school, I wanted to be the Scarecrow because of him. I learned from his amazing singing. I tried imitating his body movements. He was so goood. I made Man in the Mirror one of my inspiration songs, to become a better person, to go out there and try to make the world a better place. I thought he was one of the coolest people ever.
Of course, I was affected by his flaws, and I asked whyy ?! But wow, does God teach us a lesson. God made this talented person who has been able to touch so many lives, or at least be part of so many lives... and what does the world see? They only see the outside, the rumors, the flaws... But here is a man who sings powerful, thoughtful songs. A man who has so much influence, one who could reach out to so many people. With his death, it's amazing to see how many, if not everybody, people see past his imperfection, and recognize the significance he has made in their lives. To see how everybody was affected by this man's death...it's just so sad.
I was quite sad to hear the tragic news, I kept thinking maybe it was just a fake death and he was just on some island of his own or something, so that he could finally get away from the bad things in life. But I'm actually pretty happy. He truly was a significant man in this world, and I'm glad he's somewhere up there, where he'll sing and dance with angels, in peace. Someday we'll see him live, haha. MJ, thank you for your music.
Michael Jackson's a freaking legend. :) The world says bye, we'll missya.

Last Day of Sophomore Year!
hi, my name is michelleabiera, and today was my last day as a sophomore.
last week, i had to say bye to some seniors, such as liana banana and rachelly belly.
tuesday was the last class with 6th period French 2, such a tight-knit, chill class, which I will miss.
today my last period was P.E., in which all the P.E. classes stayed in the gym.
many people took pictures during this last period of their last day of the school year.
many signed yearbooks.
i encountered cuties.
people were laughing.
i see other blogspot kids and decide to include them in my blog.
school ends and the students are giddy. i see friends at the front of the school.
sophomore year is done!
the end.
P.S. I do not know how to use my camera yet! :( But I'll get to it. When I get my hands on it. When my brother comes back from 4 years of college. Next week.

I miss blogging.
2 dress rehearsals today!
Saturday is my big day. Or I got lotsa stuff to do!
1. I have Confirmation at St. Denis in the morning. I really wished SLYM could come, but I've learned not to keep my hopes too high... Why is it that when I'm in situations like this that I come to learn how I should treat others? Now all I want to do... is to do what I can to make the people I love happy. I saw how much Kristen was happy when SLYM people like Joe or JR or Kamaron were at the choir concert...See, my dad isn't even coming to watch my confirmation... nor my brother, nor most of my family. I'm thankful that Kristen is my sponsor, because I know that she'll be there for me. I guess they don't know how I feel about getting confirmed.. But it's okay, God's keeping me strong.
2. I have to go to the choir recital of my choir teacher... last. performance. with this choir. oh no, now it's getting to me!
3. Dance production... even though I'm only in one dance. . .. see my dad doesn't get to watch this either. Nor my cousins. Dude I don't know how some people can handle it. Those people whose parents never watch them... who don't support them as much... how do they take it?
4. Then Katrina's Debut/18th Birthday. I really hope she has a good time that day. I want her birthday to be quite perfect. :P
I never actually thought about the people who come to watch me. Idk, when Kristen mentioned it, I wondered.
Now I'm gonna think twice when someone asks me to watch them.
Actually maybe I'll just surprise them.. :P
I want to make someone happy. It is my goal.
how funny is it? that my past like, three entries have been about Happiness?

TEARS OF HAPPINESS.
Everyone is so happy for the littlest things, the littlest things seem to make me happy, happy people make me happy ;)
God is SO GOOD.
Ohh, the happiness makes me emotionally strong enough to surpass the stress in school and all. ;) It warms my heart. I feel so good.
Last night I had a dream,
and I THINK it was Lucid Dreaming....
So there was this random boy in the front of my house has was screaming at the window saying how much he felt unloved and how nobody was listening; he thought nobody was behind the window. And it hurt so much seeing how hurt he was inside, so I ran out of the room, to the front door, to the front and just ran and gave him a hug in tears. I said, "I love you. Even if I don't know you, I love you. God loves you." I could tell he was softened by those words and the hug, but despite doing such an action, I felt a little embarrassment. 'Cause who would do this to a stranger? And thus he said, "My aunt is here, I have to go." and he runs away. I thought it was me. But I had that fuzzy feeling inside...
I guess it was me reflecting on what Neil had said two weeks ago in Confirmation class. About how we can love strangers too. I wished I could do that... Hm, this dream.

For sadness, for joy.
School year's close to an end.
April's almost gone. May is gonna swish by.
It's too fast. Tooo fast...
First of all, today is:
Nicole Punsalang's
Mindy Song's
Christine Gonzales's
Birthdays! :)
I'm glad that Nicole's birthday went real well :)
I'm having crossed fingers that my 16th birthday will be swell too. x)
Because for some reason I think I expect too much, and take many things for granted. Hopefully by my 16th birthday I'll have actually grown up from the year before. And that I'll be able to appreciate that day.
... wow. Reminds me. I should do more things before I turn sixteen. x) I wanna be able to do things and say, I did that when I was still 15! You know what I mean? Not drugs or anything. Now that's horrible. Hopefully we can still get a gig at the Wire. Dude first show not for a party!
I'm having a lot of stress. I really want things to just end, for summer to be here already. Yet at the same time I don't want to let go of things. I don't want to. Isn't it funny how we notice things after it's gone? :\
I don't want to think about it. However, I learned this in European history: Carpe Diem.

Bye bye Confirmation II...
I'm going to miss Neil and the Confirmation II class! :(
If only I could actually be confirmed with them...
aww, I'm so sad now.
on top of that AP is sucking so much right now. :( I wished we had finished all material earlier...
on top of that. geezz louizz choir stuff going on. I don't even know the lyrics to some songs! and I don't know some choreography :\
I'M SO SAD.

Here's my digits, but don't call me.
Karma back at ya. Lost my cell phone. Forgot my dance shoes in dance class. Probably failed my French test. Awkward moments. A lot of things based off luck these days.
Good side: I probably know where my phone is. I was considered a very animative dancer in dance class today. I got to get out of class early today because I apparently had improved my CST scores, and I got free lunch.

On Sunday was Easter. The Lord has risen!!
It was a beautiful day.
On Sunday we celebrated my lolas' (grandmas') birthday at Chino Buffet.
Their real birthdays are on April 13th. Yes. They have the same birthdays. No, they are not twins. Yes they are sisters.
(Idk our family has this have-the-same-birthDAY thing; I think my dad has the same birthday as his dad.)

Anyways according to my studies I think Lola Vicky (left) is now 86 and Lola Ping (right) is now 83. They have hope. Their mother lived up to-- was it 98 or 99? It's amazing. They say they want to see me turn 18. They say they want to see me succeed. :)
Thing is about them, they love God very much. They always turn to God. Maybe God blesses them with long life. They always tell me how much they pray for mine and my brother's success in life, always reminding me to always pray to God, that He's always there for me. Reminding me that I can pray anytime I feel troubled, or even when I'm not troubled.
They were the ones who taught me the rosary. When I was little, I prayed with them because I wanted to. Not because I had to. Today they still pray hours and hours a day.
They tell me of their husbands who are now both dead. They tell me how they prayed for the perfect loved one. Both their husbands were very religious. God blessed them with men who loved them. God blessed them with husbands who loved God. Their perfect loved ones.
They both are widows, living together, keeping each other together. They are two strong sisters side by side. Enduring 80 plus years together.
I love them. They are strong, they are hopeful, they are faithful. I am blessed with such grandmothers. I thank the Lord. :)
Oh yeah, and my mother and I made them a cake and two cupcakes out of fondant! :) First time using fondant. I've been told our cake looks like a hat x)

Last week my mom had this reunion thing.
Um, my brother brought his green screen background.
JR practiced RAW on his D40.
Let's say there was a little photoshoot.
Here are some pictures for your entertainment.
In kudos to Justine Briones' brother's photography.

Katrina and Justine. Turning 18 soon.

It was windy today. To me, it was beautiful weather.
I pretended I was at the beach. And it was windy. And the sounds the trees made were the sounds of waves. Yes.
