Update Later

A busy weekend with no Sadies. Haha.
Update Later.
What I think's not fair -_-: I wasn't qualified for AP Bio. I was sure I was qualified though. :(
OH wells.
What I'm just eh about: I'm not in one of the dances for the choir concert.
What I'm confused about: two choirs next year? I need a sixth class to fill up the spot of AP Bio.
What I regret: not applying to enough AP classes. -_-
What I hope: I can't expect much. I will not expect much.
What I must do: DO something. I need to stop being so lazy.

Although I feel so lost and confused sometimes in this lifestyle, God always seems to be tossing beautiful things in my face, as if he's trying to inspire me in some way. To tell me not to give up. To tell me that there's people who care about me. To make me happy so that I may actually think straight. It's funny, but sometimes I don't make good use of the happiness I get from such little things.

I believe these little elements of happiness should actually be enough to be my motivation in the things I am having most difficulty with right now. You know how when you're happy, you're just alive and think and work better? Maybe that's what He's trying to tell me. Because lately, I've been having senioritis already in my sophomore year, oh so HORRIBLE. I've been blaming it on the lack of motivation, but really, my motivation is all right here! Right in front of my face! The luck that I've been getting, these simple things that feel like miracles for a moment, they all seemed to be tiny in comparison to the stress and breakingdowns I've been having, but they are nottt to ignore! They're telling me something. I shall pay attention. Step it up. Get the heck off of here.

Turn out your lights 8:30-9:30 3/28 and Vote For Earth.

VOTE EARTHVOTE FOR EARTH.
(heard about it from Tiffany Wong)

Switch off your lights from 8:30 to 9:30 on Saturday (tomorrow) night with a light switched off as a vote for Earth, a light switched on as a vote for global warming.

"THIS YEAR, EARTH HOUR HAS BEEN TRANSFORMED INTO THE WORLD’S FIRST GLOBAL ELECTION, between Earth and global warming. For the first time in history, people of all ages, nationalities, race and background have the opportunity to use their light switch as their vote – Switching off your lights is a vote for Earth, or leaving them on is a vote for global warming. WWF are urging the world to VOTE EARTH and reach the target of 1 billion votes, which will be presented to world leaders at the Global Climate Change Conference in Copenhagen 2009. This meeting will determine official government policies to take action against global warming, which will replace the Kyoto Protocol. It is the chance for the people of the world to make their voice heard.

EARTH HOUR BEGAN IN SYDNEY IN 2007, when 2.2 million homes and businesses switched off their lights for one hour. In 2008 the message had grown into a global sustainability movement, with 50 million people switching off their lights. Global landmarks such as the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco, Rome’s Colosseum, the Sydney Opera House and the Coca Cola billboard in Times Square all stood in darkness.

IN 2009, EARTH HOUR IS BEING TAKEN TO THE NEXT LEVEL, with the goal of 1 billion people switching off their lights as part of a global vote. Unlike any election in history, it is not about what country you’re from, but instead, what planet you’re from. VOTE EARTH is a global call to action for every individual, every business, and every community. A call to stand up and take control over the future of our planet. Over 74 countries and territories have pledged their support to VOTE EARTH during Earth Hour 2009, and this number is growing everyday.

We all have a vote, and every single vote counts. Together we can take control of the future of our planet, for future generations."

I don't feel like blogging...

But I will.

This was my most anticipated picture from my Minolta film camera! :)
Entangled

Today did not feel like a late start! :(
The day was rather blah, and in two periods today found two individuals in tears. I do not know why. :( It was not like them...

During Lunch I went to a club meeting and choir meeting. :) New people! Andd, ELLIE MUST TEACH ME JAZZ PIANO. It sounds so freakin goood! New thing I learned today on piano: DORIAN SCALE. Now I understand why jazz/piano improvisers are so good at theory!

In French, I find it so amusing how Myles is so deep! And how much he knows about the body! Fruitful.

Afterschool, JOANNA IS FREAKING CUTE. She ain't ugly :(

Today I saw my cousin Gabe in a longg time! Hope he's doing well at UC Berkley :)
---------------------------------------

Yesterday, I felt horrible. Late start, but I had a headache and horrible runny nose. RACHEL DON'T GO NEAR ME. I'm sick. I may be contagious. Well, I don't think I'm sick anymore actually. But talking about Rachel, I wish all the luck on Friday! I think you deserve to have music as your major.

The essay in European History AP was total FAIL. :( Don't get at me.

HAHA. So yesterday Kristen and I had our hair up in buns, and I was wearing a purple sweater, and she a teal cardigan. We looked rather alike, as many others said, and because of that, Kristen and I traded books and bags and necklaces and I wore her sunglasses. The funny thing is, my COUSIN thought I was Kristen even BEFORE we traded books and bags. Do we really look alike? and GAIL post that picture on your blog or something please! I'd like to see that picture! :D

Here's the picture x)
michk10
Hey I don't look so bad with sunglasses, a purse, and a necklace do I? Hahaha. I've never tried it.
-----------------------------------------------

On Sunday, it was the most beautiful weather! in sight. Such cold weather by touch...

-----------------------------------------------

On Saturday, my brother was home. Yeps. We went to the Shoppes on a gloomy day. Gah I don't like going there on gloomy days! Haha. We ate at P.F. Changs. I bought the Grimm's Book of Fairy Tales. x)

When we got home, DUDE did we pass out! WARNING: do not eat at P.F. Changs if you do not intend on having a very. very. long nap.

Gail arrived and she saw my photographic wall. Haha. Then we headed for Bishop Amat's Barkada show. Got there. Ate there. Janeckza, Micah, Narisa, Azzedine there. Even more Walnut kids. SHARLENE QUINTO! :) Hahah haven't seen that girl since forever!

I kinda agree with Rachel about the seeing other people in other places. Like there were people there I knew maybe when I was a kid, or in middle school, and it's that feeling of, do they remember me? aweihrfleir such an uncomfortable feeling!

To Margiel, you look like Michael Cabico with your new haircut.

So the Barkada show, it was pretty cool. Maryanne :) Hahah what an evil stepmother you are!
BAHS has alotta goood singers!
Dances were entertaining, with people in behind bleachers constantly yelling people's names, cough colleen, cough. hahahaa. Lol. What a loud crowd.
During intermission there was quite a rannddoomm surprise with Randolph, then Andrew Garcia, then AJ Rafael. Hahaa. :)
See all the people run down from the bleachers to sit in front of them.

but um, each only sang one song.

So the show ended. And Gail brought me back home.
And that was the end of that day!

Il fait du vent, mais il fait beau. Tres beau.

no blog today because finally my original sleeping pattern kicks in. I'm actually sleepy already.
good night.

Rachel, Pictures.

Go to my Photobucket Album for choir pictures. I didn't feel like resizing them here x) A lot of the pictures gave me a headache because they were so blue :( I still have Disneyland pictures to upload x] I miss my old camera :(

So today felt like a Thursday. Yesterday felt like a block day. I got a Twitter. Tumblr next I guess. Sigh.

Dude you have no idea how the NINJA GAME has gotten so big at Walnut High. It's funny how a game went around the whole school.. Like, literally. It's insane. You see a group playing here. There. At the front. At the X. At the lunch area. !?! Hahah.

The NINJA GAME...

Gail and Lorraine watching. I don't know how to play?

A couple hundred feet away is another NINJA GAME going on... Freshmennn hahah!

Then when I went to the front of the school, I saw a group of guys playing it too. What the hammer? What the chain? (lol European class joke. Props to those who get it).

And also the pushups when you say... ? Haha.
Today afterschool, Krizzel wanted to stay for a guitar session... guitars everywhere. I suck, I can't play any songs anymore, what a shame.

Mark Negado!! He's so goood now!

These guys know so many songs!

Awwwe haha Krizzel teaching Nadine how to play guitar. x) It's cute.

Ice cream! Bahha. Then I talked to Christine E., whom I have not talked to in the longest time!

Then came home to  find my brother home.

Yeeps. Bishop Amat's Barkada tomorrow!

Film Development at a local CVS=

totally efficient. Not only is it nearby, but it's also 1 hour development! Not only is my film developed in a short amount of time, but the guy knows what he's doing, and informs me in ways I can make my pictures turn out better next time. THANK YOU! No more going all the way to Albertsons to wait a whole week for film development!

Next time: buy 800 or 1000 film. Pictures were too dark. I'm stooopid. I needa learn more.

I'm just glad the picture I was most anxious to see turned out great! :)

So anyways.

On Friday or was it Saturday? Yes Saturday. My brother came home unexpectedly. He brought home a DVD of his latest project, his Korean drama (spoof of Coffee Prince) for a Korean class. It's around 20 minutes, and I thought it was pretty good. :) It's like Wong Fu Productions haha.

Here's the first part if you're interested!:

On Saturday, I saw Mark Negado riding the coolest bike, baby blue, vintage-ish. I think. Haha, but I was so jealouss! Then I saw like three more vintage bikes and was wondering why in the world I was being tortured like this. -_-

I had to go to a four year old's birthday party. Oh toddlers, they're so cute. The magician DID have tricks that made me wonder. Gah. At the party I played with Clarisse's iTouch. Played on a moonbounce yeh! Ha.

Then my brother and mom got a haircut.

I think my mom is
 pretty :) She's like Sophia
Loren BACK THEN.

Went to Sound of Music at night. It was pretty good. Out of the nuns I spotted Rachel, Michelle, Lauren, Janella, Tiffany, Demee (sp!), Megan, Liz, and more. Leti as Maria, wow! She was so great! Adam as the Captain, the children (hahah Ali Hernandez x]), Swaim as Max, Jin as the Baroness? goodgood. I really liked that song that Jin sang, that wasn't in the movie. I liked that song :) Yeps.

What I see before they know.

I don't watch American Idol, but I happened to come across this video with a singer named Adam Lambert. The name was familiar, but I didn't know from where, and plus I never watch American Idol. Then I saw his face and I recognizedd! Haha he was Fiyero in Wicked at the Pantages when choir watched him in 8th grade! But what a coincidence!
----------
What does it feel like to you, when you see something start, but nobody else sees it until everyone else sees it? Especially when you don't get other people to see it too?

It's so strange, how time flies by, and with media today people can become so well-known within such a short period of time!

A lot of things turn mainstream before you know it.

So if things are the way they are now, why not take the opportunity? Rachel I think you need to collab with Mourning Sunshine. :D With Katrina! haha :)

This blog does not only pertain to music.

march 8

Haha Rachel I planned to post all the choir pictures this weekend, and I even put them all on photobucket already, but I was too lazy to put them all up here. Gah resizing.

My brother came home Friday and left Saturday night. Mad Film Dash was quite the main subject. x]
Here watch: he was nominated for best direction/cinematography !

Mad Film Dash Entry from Tabula Rasa Productions on Vimeo.

Today I had my theory test, which my teacher said I did good on! Yes, an allnighter studying piano theory paid off. -_- Haha it's so lamee.

Oh yea! On Friday night I tried the Coldstone cupcakes that Nicole was talking about on her blog, and I didn't know it came in a pack. So I went over to my cousin Justine's house and shared the cupcakes there with Dan Ray, Jr. and Jamie. It was cute. I'm glad I shared it with them :) I liked the text message the fourth grader Jamie sent me that night x]] "Hi Michelle those cupcakes were bomb" ! They were amazing. That IS a good present. haha.

Today was such a weirrdd day. I didn't like how it felt.

I

am praying that people just see
-----
Sorry Rachel I still haven't posted any pictures. I'm even posting these pictures first! Gah because I have sooo many choir pictures! :\ but more :)
-----
I've come across this theme in which I say, "life is like a movie." Which is why my pictures in this post will be letterboxed. Maybe even again in the future.

I brought my camera to school today because Neil's confirmation II class all wore their shirts today, and I thought we would take a group picture, but I guess not due to rain...

I love confirmation class. It has some of the greatest people:

I love the Amat kids :) Maryanne I already marked my date for Barkada!

After-class bonding is great, and I love the pavilion lighting :)

Today I ate lunch with Lorraine. Everybody was gone probably because of the rain...:\

I noticed Ashley eating the only thing she'd probably be eating that day: an apple.

o, gloomy day.

Afterschool walked to Suzanne Park with my cousin Krizzel.

At Suzanne Park I spotted my cousin Kayril with her friend.

I can't believe how tall, and pretty, she's getting.

She's pretty loyal to her friends I bet.

AHHA, I did such an embarrassing thing today! x]
So I saw my 6th grade cousin at the park too. I was excited to see him!
Me: OMG MIGGY!
Vince: *has a "who are you?" look on his face. His friend has the same face*
Me: oh I mean, VINCE! HI VINCE!
Vince: Hi Michelle! Gimme a hug! *walks over*
Me: *backs away* noo! Is this a trick??
Vince: yes it is a trick.
Me: Omg Miggyyy can I take a picture of youu?!
-no response-
Me: OH I MEAN VINCEEE.
bahahaha. I thought that was embarrassing x] They all looked at me like I was crazy when I called him by the name I always do. It felt so weird saying his "grownup" name... And they're all getting so old so quick... Still kinda short, but still...

Sighh. How time flies by so fast.

Help Me.

I haven't posted here since Lent started!

So helppp mee.
I never knew choosing between AP and IB could be so hard. It's quite an important decision. Ever since I was a little kid I wanted to go to Harvard, but of course now that I'm older I know that's highly unlikely. And I don't want to be a lawyer anyway. But yea. For us Walnut kids we are so inbetween right now. We have questions like:
Is IB really worth taking?
Is IB really better than AP?
Is IB really going to help us get into a better college?
Is IB really worth having so much work to do?
Am I going to be able to get through IB?
People say AP is just as likely to get you to a good school as IB. Is that true?
IB kids have more benefit than AP kids because of budget cuts. Really?

And we're all asking ourselves if we can handle taking it. And the same time we don't want to regret. And at the same time we want to be one of those few people who get that diploma. And at that same time we don't want to be alone. And at the same time we want to excell others. Good gracious, please help me. I want to live up to my goals. I don't want to regret. I don't want to put down an opportunity in which I can just "simply" adjust to rigorous work, and at the same time I don't want to work myself too hard that it's unhealthy, that I drop out... Help me, people who have experience. I just don't know which is best for me...

--------
So in the two competitions this weekend, our choir got two second place trophies! :) hahaha. fun stuff. I'm sad that we kept missing out on the good choirs! Lol, like Chula Vista (who I looked up and are freaking awesome! and have pretty good looking kids haha) and we didn't get to see Burroughs (who I also looked up and their mixed choir is reallly good too). Yay choir

I saw a lotta great show choirs on YouTube I shall post them here later for Rachel and others to watch, choir nerds. :) Because the choirs are SO GOOD. haha.

Blah blah blah. I want to post pictures but don't have time. Laytahs.

I hate waking up latee and running to class.

I hate how everybody is panicking over whether to take IB or AP. It's so stressful for sophomores. :((

I hate doing make-ups because they take up my time. :(

Sometimes I hate wondering why can't everybody be appreciative of things, of people, of other people's ideas, thoughts.

In confirmation class, we got our shirts! You will see what it'll look like when we take pictures tomorrow :D I love confirmation! It's an interesting class.

Ughh. I don't think I'm trying hard enough....
